What is ShareFile?

This feature is provided as part of our Support service to allow the secure upload and download of large Caseware files.  

ShareFile provides a simple way of transferring large files and sensitive data securely and quickly. ShareFile offers encryption, strong passwording and the control of access to specified directories. 

Our clients will have the ability to set their own passwords.  To comply with Data Protection, all files older than 4 days will be deleted. 

ShareFile's data centre features the following computer network security measures: 

• Ballistic-proof exterior, including doors and windows
• fingerprint scanners and ID checking for all entry and exit of the facility
• double man traps force double verification and provides extra secure data centre entry
• redundant off-site monitoring of all security systems
• locked cabinets and cages

The privately managed server farm is equipped with the latest firewalls and computer internet security updates to help keep your data completely safe.  Each user of the system has a unique login and password.  All user passwords are hashed in the ShareFile database, meaning that not even the ShareFile support personnel can view or in any way determine a user's password. Setting up your firm's account

So that we can set up both your firm and users within ShareFile, please supply uksupport@caseware.co.uk with a full list of Caseware users and their email addresses. If your firm's own IT Computer policy states that only the Computer department would have access to transfer files, would you please still provide a list of users and email addresses, as this system will allow us to email the user when the file has been returned to save any delays.

The email address of the person responsible for transferring files with the Computer department will also be required.
