Missing Wizard and Accounts document after converting to AccountsAdvanced

Occasionally the conversion process of a file from the Accounts V3 template to the AccountsAdvanced template is interrupted. The process can be interrupted by inadequate network connection, the computer crashing or shutting down the machine. 

This interruption can prevent the Wizard and/or Accounts documents being built into the file.

To build the documents into the file manually, the Copy Components procedure is required.

1. Access the Copy Components wizard via the File menu in CaseWare Working Papers.

 

2. Choose Copy Into This File and click Next.

 

3. Select the Company AccountsAdv template or AccountsAdvanced Charity-Academy depending on your file.

 

4. Tick Documents and click Deselect All.

5. Tick the document(s) you need to replace and click Next.

 

6. On the following screen, leave the boxes unticked and click Next.

 

7. Click Finish on the final screen to complete the process.

 

8. The new document(s) will be added to the Document Manager.
