Getting started on Caseware Cloud

Users & Clients

The first thing to consider when using Caseware Cloud is who will be using it, and for what assignments.  Quite often the safest thing to assume is that any given member of staff may use it for any given client.

Before Caseware Cloud can be used effectively, staff (referred to as People in Cw Cloud) and clients (referred to as Entities in Cw Cloud) will need to be configured by a representative of the organisation.

 

Working Papers SmartSync Enabled

In order to start using the functionality of Caseware Cloud and SmartSync, users will need to have a SmartSync enabled version of Caseware Working Papers installed.

Each organisation that uses Caseware SmartSync will be issued with a unique instance of Caseware Cloud to be maintained internally by a designated member of the organisation.

Once Caseware SmartSync has been enabled, each user will need to configure their installation to integrate with the correct instance of Caseware Cloud.
