Occasionally, when trying to access a SmartSync file you might come across the error message A synchronized copy of this file already exists at: [Location].
This usually occurs when trying to access the file via the Recent Files list or the SmartSync Server and a copy of the file has already been downloaded.
Select Yes to open the existing copy.
If No is selected a fresh SmartSync child copy will be downloaded from CaseWare Cloud to the local workspace. This may cause further conflicts and therefore is not recommended.
