Cannot sort sections that overlap - Error Message when sorting

If you receive the below error message when sorting sections within the accounts, please ensure you have the latest AccountsAdvanced ePack installed and all updates accepted in the file.

Should the error re-occur after fully updating your file, you will need to run the housekeeping function to remove any unused sections which may be preventing the sort function from working.

Note: Prior to running the housekeeping function a backup of the file should be taken. For guidance on saving a backup please click here.

1. Click on the icon beneath the Help tab to launch the housekeeping function.

2. Ensure all sections are ticked and click OK.

3. The unused sections will then be removed.

4. Once complete, re-sort the required sections. Should the error message re-occur please contact Technical Support at support@caseware.co.uk or on 01622 355250.
