Rounding to thousands or millions - V3

Within the accounts, there is an option to round thousands or millions.

This can be performed in a couple of ways.

On the accounts

1. On the toolbar, right-click on this and you will see the options to Round to £000 or £M.

2. When choosing an option, a box will appear which allows typing in what the text notes should show. The note headers will automatically change to £000 or £M.

On the Wizard

1. This can be changed in the Accounts Wizard. 

2. At the bottom of the table, click on the cell next to Figures 'rounded to':

Select this repeatedly to cycle through the options.

Additional Information

• When choosing a different option, input cells (those with blue shading) will not automatically round, these need to be changed manually.
• If £M is chosen, it is not possible for the figures to display with one decimal place in all areas of the accounts.
• If rounding in a Charity of Academy file, check that the rounding in the Funds Analysis is set to the same setting as the accounts through the right click menu on the £ button.
