The figures on my asset notes are duplicated across the columns

If there is the issue shown below where the figures are duplicated across the columns in the asset notes.

This is due to an Accounts V3 template mapping number being used in the trial balance.

To check the mapping numbers used, access the Assign Mapping screen via the Account menu in Caseware Working Papers.

1. Check the relevant mapping numbers, A01* for Tangible Fixed Assets in this example.

2. Any mapping numbers with 7 digits, such as A01.01.01 relate to the Accounts V3 template mapping structure, these mapping numbers are not compatible with the AccountsAdvanced template and should not be used.

Note: If you have imported a pre-mapped trial balance it is possible that the Accounts V3 template mapping numbers were imported with the trial balance, alternatively if the file was converted to the AccountsAdvanced template and the conversion was interrupted, the mapping numbers may not have fully converted.

3. To correct the asset notes, re-map the nominal codes from the 7 digit mapping numbers to 9 digit mapping numbers.

4. In this example, re-map from A01.01.01 to A01.01.00.01.

The note figures will then be corrected as below.
