Inconsistencies with Company Tax Returns (letter from HMRC)
We are aware that HRMC is contacting some agents via a letter.
The letter explains that there are inconsistencies with Company Tax Returns where the losses amounts reported in the CT600 form are different from the accompanying tax computation.
The letter also explains that HMRC is writing to software providers to help with fixing the issue, however, to date, we are not aware of receiving any such communication.
We have since contacted HMRC, requesting their guidance.
This issue has been referred to the product management team internally to review with HRMC. We will issue an update when we have further information in relation to this.
