Greyed out Companies House button - with QuickVid

If you find that the option to select Companies House filing is greyed out (once you have exported the iXBRL), check that these pre-requisites are completed to facilitate the online filing within Caseware.

1. Ensure that you have a cloud account created for you on your Collaborate instance.

2. Check that you have selected the option to integrate with Caseware Cloud.

3. Update your serial number within CWMaintenance.

4. Register your firm instance name within Caseware (C:\Program Files (x86)\CaseWare\Add-Ins\CWMaintenance)

Note: Once the above steps are confirmed, unlock your file and close/re-open.

5. Take a backup and then take the latest updates for the ToolBar.

6. Within the ToolBar, to go Tools then KL Update. You will then see the following message, select Yes.

7. Select the ToolBar update and click OK.
