Section ‘Header A11’ and ‘Header A12’ not found

Error Messages

If you get the error messages below, where the custom headers on their PC have not been updated to the latest version. 

 

 

 

In the case of a Directors' Report or Auditors’ Report in the Accounts that spans across multiple pages.

The red messages below will appear at the top of the continuation pages in the print preview screen (Press F4 in your accounts).

Header 11 = Directors’ Report continuation header
Header 12 = Auditors’ Report continuation header

 

Solution

To remove the red messages, re-create custom headers knowledge library (KL). 

1. To re-create the custom headers KL file, re-name the existing file which can later be deleted.

2. To do this, ensure CaseView is closed and browse to the Caseware installation path below

C:\Program Files (x86)\CaseWare\Resources\Knowledge Library\Custom

3. Locate the Corp-HeaderCustom KL and re-name to Corp-HeaderCustomOLD.

 

4. Re-open the accounts and a new custom headers document will be created automatically.

Alternatively, switch to using the standard headers if you are happy with their format.
