Showing a movement on the same row in the SOCIE - with QuickVid

Show a movement on the same row in the SOCIE by using one of the Other movements rows.

You can view the Other movements rows by clicking the Show all unused rows icon beneath the Table tab.

There are six available rows, split between OCI and non-OCI movements. Each three rows will appear as below.

These rows are populated using specific mapping numbers with mapping mask 21. The below example shows the Other movement mapping numbers available for the Capital Redemption Reserve (CRR). The same mapping structure applies to the other SOCIE items.

In the example below a movement is shown between the Revaluation reserve and the Profit and loss account.

To achieve this, mapping numbers H02.21.00.01 (Revaluation reserve) and H03.21.00.01 (Profit and loss account) have been used. As both mapping numbers end in 01 the values posted will populate on the Other movement type 1 row. Those ending in 02/03 will show on the Other movement type 2/3 rows.

If the row nets to zero then by default this will turn blue and not print. To print the row please click the Show row when values are zero icon beneath the Table tab.
