Cloud Engagement Restore

When Cloud Engagement data has been lost (through deletion of a complete file, specific documents/document contents or external documents), the next step is to retrieve a backup from Caseware International.

Please email servicedesk@caseware.co.uk with the information below.

Note: The email must include the URL to the file. This is the website URL to the Documents view within the file.

 

The following information will need to be sent in full, from an Authorised Contact:

  • File name
  • Company name
  • Cloud instance URL
  • Name of entity
  • Name of file to be restored
  • Date closest to restore
  • Year end date of file
  • File URL

We also require the following declarations in your own words:

  • A declaration stating that you give permission for Caseware International to access the engagement
    e.g. "I authorise CWI to access our Cloud instance and engagement for the purpose of the ticket"
  • A declaration confirming that you accept the £90 charge
    e.g. "....and I authorise the £90 charge"
