What is the SmartSync status of my file?

When accessing a file you can monitor its status by viewing the Synchronisation Status toolbar at the bottom of the Working Papers window.

 
Status Symbols

Depending on the current status of the file, one of the following will be displayed: 

Symbol Status
Normally seen temporarily when Caseware is preparing to publish a file.
Signifies no internet connection is available, or if you have manually chosen to work offline.
Seen during the publishing process.
Signifies when Caseware is synchronising the local child copy of the data to the Cloud copy, which usually happens when opening or closing a file.
Seen when the file is fully synchronised to the Cloud copy with no conflicts.
Seen when the file is fully synchronised to the Cloud copy with 1 conflict. This would usually be accompanied by a warning message that will enable you to quickly access the Synchronisation Conflicts dialogue.
