Smart Engagement - Word / Excel documents showing as read-only when opening

We have identified an issue within Microsoft Office where Word / Excel files show as read-only within the Smart Engagement software.

Caseware International are currently investigating and working on a permanent solution.
As a temporary Workaround to help improve the experience when using Word / Excel, Cookies will need to be removed.

This is can be completed by following these steps:

Opening the control panel
Selecting internet options
Under general tab find delete history, cookies etc.
Click on the delete
On the selection dialog (deselect everything except cookies)
Click delete

The deletion dialog should look like the below.
