How to produce Abridged/Adapted format primary statements under Section 1A

Small companies reporting under FRS102 Section 1A can choose between Full, Abridged or Adapted formats for the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Account.

You can choose the required formats in the Accs Format section of the Wizard. Select the chosen formats by using the radio buttons beneath the Primary statement options tab. 

If the above selections are amended after the Accounts have been built, you will need to load the relevant table layout on the face of the Accounts.

To load the table layout, select any row on the statement and click the Load a table layout icon beneath the Table tab.

Select the required layout and click OK.

Note: Once the company has adopted a particular format, it may not be changed in subsequent years unless there are special reasons, which must be disclosed.
