Accounts Preparation table is locked

If you are in the Accounts Prep table and you find that you are unable to make changes, this is due to it being locked.

The word LOCKED will display in a red banner in the Wizard as well as a padlock on your toolbar on your main accounts.


The accounts are locked due to the completion dates having been entered into the Completion section of the Wizard. The accounts will also be locked upon ticking the client approval copy box in this section.

1. Remove the dates from Signature dates and/or untick the box for Client approval copy.


2. The quickest way to remove the dates is to select No dates using the radio button.

Note: We suggest taking note of the dates before making this selection.


3. Once the dates have been removed, you will now be able to make changes in the Accounts Prep table.

4. Once you have made the necessary changes, re-enter the dates.
