Removing the company registration number from the Balance Sheet header

The header of the Balance Sheet picks up the registered number and adds it in by default.

Please note: The following steps will not affect other files:

These steps will only work with custom headers.

1. In the Accounts Wizard | Presentation| Style, set headers to Custom to be able to amend this separately, within your Accounts.

2. Access enable editing, under the view tab.

Click on the Lock/Unlock icon on the Home toolbar immediately after selecting Enable Editing and then enter the password

Note: If you do not have the password for enable editing, contact the Caseware super user at your firm.

3. Click on the modify header button beneath the document tab, shown below. Click on the drop down arrow and choose Header 9, which is the Balance Sheet header.

4. This will open up the Freeze section for headers. Right-click on the paragraph marker (the small backwards ’P’) just after the cell and choose Paragraph…

5. Make the following selections :

Skip Print: choose Always
Hide Action
: choose None

6. Click OK and the text will turn blue. This means that, although you can see it, it will not print. Click on the Modify button again to exit.
