How to include a Format 2 Balance Sheet - with QuickVid
The Wizard provides the option of presenting your Balance Sheet in two different formats: Format 1 and Format 2.
Format 1 is the standard Balance Sheet layout set by default within your accounts.
Format 2 reorders the Balance Sheet so that Assets form the top half of the Balance Sheet, whilst Liabilities Capital & Reserves form the bottom half.
You can download the Format 2 balance sheet from here
Once you have obtained this, download the file to the desired location, followed by extracting the file to the default location.
If you have not yet created the Accounts
The option to select this will be in the Wizard, within the Accounts Format section, under Disclosure Format.
Scroll to the Primary Statement options, and select the Radial Button for Format 2.
If you have already generated the Accounts
You can select this format by navigating to the Table tab within CaseView, select the Load A Table Layout tool, and select the layout Format 2 Custom SOFP.
