How to insert a logo onto the Cover Page

A logo can be added to the Cover Page of a single file or made available for use in all files.

In the Accs Format window of the Wizard, under the Style, select the radio button for CUSTOM as shown below and then click amend.

Locate the area where you want to insert the logo and select Picture from the Insert menu on the CaseWare toolbar.

Browse to where you have saved the logo and select the file. Tick Embed picture in document and click OK to insert the logo.

The width and height of the logo can also be amended here if required. To adjust the settings after the logo has been inserted, double click on the logo to open this dialog.

Note: The logo will insert as a blank box in the custom Cover Page, you will need to view the print preview to see the logo.

On the face of the Cover Page:

As per this example you might need to align the logo with the Cover Page text.

To do this, click on the paragraph marker next to the logo and use the style dropdown menu to select a style to apply to the paragraph.

In this example CoverPageHeadInput style has been used, to match the style applied to the text above.

The logo is now aligned with the text.

Once the amendments are complete, save the custom Cover Page and return to the Wizard.

Re-select the CUSTOM radio button in the Wizard to apply the Cover Page changes to the Accounts

On returning to the Accounts the Cover Page will be updated to include the logo.

Note: The logo will display as a blank box on the face of the Accounts, view the print preview to see the logo.
