How do I unlock the Accounts? - with QuickVid

The accounts are locked once the completion dates have been entered into the Accounts Completion section of the Wizard.

Once the Accounts are locked, an orange padlock will appear on the toolbar.

This stops the user from being able to check for/accept updates to the Accounts and the Accounts Preparation Table will be locked for changes.


 

To unlock the Accounts, open the Wizard via the button on the toolbar.

1. Click on the Completion tab and make a note of the dates entered.

2. Select the No dates radio button to unlock the Accounts.

3. If a Client approval copy date has been entered this will also need to be removed to unlock the Accounts.


4. Return to the Accounts which will now be unlocked and the orange padlock symbol removed.
