I have a rounding error at the top of the page but no difference in the accounts

If you have a rounding error banner at the top of the accounts, yet no differences exist in the accounts, this is likely caused by content that is no longer required in the Accounts Preparation Table.

Note: It is recommended that a backup of the Caseware file is taken prior to running the below Housekeeping function. For guidance on saving a backup please click here.

1. Beneath the Tools tab on the CaseView toolbar, select the housekeeping icon.

2. Run Housekeeping to remove any sections that are no longer required and switched off in the Accounts Preparation Table.

3. Tick all sections in the dialog and click OK.

4. The red rounding banner should then be removed. If the banner remains it can be ignored and will not show in print preview.
