How to remove split accounts

A plus sign next to an account number indicates that the account has been split.

Note: We do not currently support split accounts, see below steps on how to remove them. 

1. Open the split account by selecting the + icon.

 

2. The following screen will pop up and show the duplicate figure.

 

 

3. Zero out any duplicate figures in that row, Delete and then Close.

 

 

4. The row will now appear as a standard account code.

 

 

Cannot delete a split account?

In the invent that you cannot delete your split account, this will be due to the Caseware settings.

1. To change these settings, go to Tools and then Options on the toolbar.

 

 

2. Under the Advanced tab, make sure the option to delete split accounts is ticked and click OK.
