How to create a new mapping number

1. Access the Assign Mappings screen by clicking on the icon beneath the Account tab in Caseware Working Papers.

2. Right-click on an existing mapping number within the Assign Mappings screen and select New Mapping Number.

3. Caseware will automatically suggest the mapping number based upon the mapping number that was right-clicked.

4. When naming your new map code, we recommend following the existing sequence.

5. Amend the mapping number properties if required and add the mapping number name.

6. Click OK to create the mapping number which will then appear in the Assign Mappings screen or select Next to continue to add another map code.
