Importing an Excel TB with multiple instances of the same account number
If there are multiple instances of the same account number within the Excel document to be imported.
Select the option to accumulate balances upon import of the trial balance.
You will find this option on the last screen of the import wizard, the Advanced specifications.
Tick the box to accumulate balances.
If you have already imported your trial balance and the TB is out of balance in Caseware, you can re-import it.
Ensure the above option Accumulate balances is ticked, along with the option to Clear balances of period(s) being imported.
