Imported the wrong Trial Balance from Excel?

If you have imported the incorrect Excel Trial Balance, follow these steps to remove it and import the correct one:

1. Create a backup of the file.

2. Run through the import process again as usual for the new Trial Balance until the Advanced Specifications screen.

3. Tick the option that says Clear Balances of Period(s) Being Imported, circled below:

This will clear balances of periods being imported, so ensure that if you imported the wrong TB using Current Year Balance – Opening Balance then use that same option again.

The Trial Balance will now include the newly updated figures.
