How to install Caseware Working Papers and Caseware Templates silently

1. Take the two downloads and extract the data into a folder on the network called Caseware-install (you can use applications such as winrar, winzip or 7zip to do this), then extract the Company Audit & Common Components (if licenced for Audit) into their existing folders.

2. Use the following scripts to install silently (edit to match your folder locations)

If testing using Cmd Prompt please make sure you run Cmd as an Administrator.

Caseware Accounts Template

Before rolling this out for the first time, you will need to copy the template.clf file from a machine with the software manually installed.

Example: xcopy "X:\caseware-install\CW 2022\template.clf" "C:\program files (x86)\caseware\add-ins\" /Y /s /a /r /h

Copy the silentcwp.ini (available from the following link) and paste in the same location as the cwp file:
