Standalone vs Network licencing

There are two types of licencing options that can be used for Caseware, these are Standalone and Network.

If you need to change from one type of licencing to another please contact our support department.

Standalone - This is an authorisation code, with a number of token uses, that is applied on a machine-by-machine basis. Click here for instructions on adding a Standalone licence.

Network licencing - This is licence that is added to a server and is a pool of licences that the users machine or the server/ remote desktop is applied to.

If you are using a remote desktop or server to host Caseware you will need to use network licence.

Any machine using a licence from the network licence will need to be on the same Local area network (LAN) as the licence. Click here for instructions on adding a Network licence.
