How to remove the trial balance in Caseware Working Papers
Follow these steps to remove the trial balance from your engagement file and reinstate Caseware's standard chart of accounts.
1. With the engagement file open, select File and Copy Components.
2. Select Copy into this file.
3. Choose the relevant template and select Next. In this example, we will select the CompanyAccountsAdv template.
4. Tick the box for Trial Balance and select Next.
5. Tick the box for Account Balances and select Next.
6. Select Finish.
Caseware will remove the trial balance and replace it with the Caseware standard chart of accounts.
