Rolling forward an Audit file on the Cloud (Smart Sync)
When the Audit has been completed for the current year, complete a year end close remembering to change the file path to the server location and publish to the cloud next year’s audit file.
1. This tick box is automatically selected in the Year End Close dialogue box as shown below.
2. This will result in there being a synchronised copy on the server as well as a copy on the Cloud.
3. Once complete, exit the file and synchronise the copy down to the local machine.

4. Perform all necessary Audit updates on the newly downloaded file and once the Audit is updated exit the file and delete this synchronised copy.
Note: It is important that the file is as up to date as possible at this point in order to save time updating the file when the new Audit is started.
5. When the new Audit is ready to begin, users should download a fresh copy from the Cloud and upgrade to the latest version of AuditAdvanced to take any additional updates or content changes
The server copy of the file should also be opened to ensure that everything synchronises down from the Cloud.
